During the recycling process, common food-contact materials such as PC, Tritan, and PPSU are often difficult for plastic color sorting and NIR plastic sorting to effectively identify due to their certain similarities in appearance and material with R-PET. The inclusion of these materials poses a serious quality threat to recycled products.
